BCB (BPL) contacted "Shahid Afridi" directly and offered him $400,000 to play in BPL. BCB offered to sign a "direct contract" with him but Afridi turned it down by saying that his country is very important to him and he will not compromise over national interest.
Then BCB made a 2nd offer to Afridi to join the commentary team for very lucrative compensation but Afridi turned it down also.
